Now, she is bringing her career to a greater height by opening the first overseas ACAAcademy in New York City. Emma Wolfe's passion has always been educating her peers as well as her clients. She is a Vidal Sassoon trained stylist who has been practicing her craft since an early age. Her emphasis as a stylist has always been precision cutting which caters to a wash and wear clientele; the everyday woman. Her fundamental training is the building block she uses to create beautiful shapes in the hair. Her dedication to the art of hair cutting is evident by the finished look.

Having over 10 years experience, when she is not behind the chair, she is traveling around the country to train and share her artistry. Aside from hair color, She has also worked for several different styling lineswhere shehasmastered her skills in styling. Having worked the NYC fashion week inspired her to open her horizon to photo shoots, videography and editorial work. She then partnered with renowned Avant Garde stylist Palma N’Sheluvzit.Yolanda was instrumental in managing Palmas work, having it entered into art galleries, resulting in a nomination for an editorial award for 2015 NAHA. They decided to share their knowledge by traveling around the country in hair shows and private salons. Their companyMakeYaMarkconsults and trains other artists in the industry to not only walk in peoples lives but to also leave a mark. They have teamed up with an inspiration to the hair world Ms.
As the founder of A Cut Above—a Malaysia-based salon group and academy—it's an overwhelming step for our academy to now have a presence in New York City.
